For a long time, I thought that I couldn’t walk because I was in pain. I went to specialists & therapists, got MRIs and X-rays of my knee, on the premise that my knee was the problem.
The turning point in my healing was when I discovered, that my knee was in pain because I stressed it by the way I walked. Working with my Feldenkrais practitioner and now my mentor, Janice Vincent, I discovered many aspects of walking that didn't feel like I was grinding my joints.
I started practicing what I was learning in our sessions. Each week, I would come back to the private session with questions and struggles about bringing it to life.
I had tailored this way of learning for myself. Today my knee is in great health, I hike, bike and canoe with ease, enjoyment and presence with my family and friends. Fast forward - 5 years of walking practice, many hundreds of hours of training and applying with clients, I am very excited to offer you a super charged way of learning so you can really step into your power with life's most important movement - walking.
