Madhura was going to give up skiing…

“I am learning to ski as an adult and started ski season with a tight upper back. I couldn’t sleep because of it. My arms would get tense holding the ski poles, and that made it uncomfortable to type on my phone. The Movement Studio

Carve out an hour every week to be guided in sensory movement where strength comes from arousing your curiosity and waking up your playful side, not by repetition.

Shrutee will lead the session with a movement exploration curated for the group. Themes include jaw, neck and shoulders, feet and legs, back, posture etc. but remember that no matter where we focus on, it benefits the whole body.

 

Group Learning

The opportunity for observation and feedback will help you see, hear and reflect in ways that will bust limitations and deepen your connection and comfort with you body.

 

Digital Library with Lifetime Access

Each week’s exploration is recorded and uploaded to a podia library that you can access anytime, anywhere. Folks tell me that redoing these explorations continues to unlock their body in new ways and is that self care sanctuary that grounds them through rough currents of their week, work and life.

Where and when will we meet?
When: Wednesdays, 10-11am Pacific Time from Jan 10. Think of it like a mid-week mini vacay that rejuvenates you!

Where: In your home, in a quiet space where you can lie down comfortably. I will share the zoom link and other deets via email.

Is it live teaching? How can you guide me from your computer?
Yes! It's live teaching! I respond to what's happening in the zoom room and provide cues that are relevant to what you are doing. You point the camera towards yourself, so I can see you. Trust me, I have a very trained eye, 'X ray vision' so I'm told!

What if I can’t make the live meetings?
While there’s nothing like live interaction, I get it that sometimes life happens. Don’t fear, if you miss a session or two, you’ll have access to the live recordings (which many of my clients love listening to multiple times).

What is this based on?
It’s is based on the Feldenkrais Method that combines whole body movement with nervous system healing. Don’t worry, you won’t be lectured on neuroplasticity, we’ll just do it so you get to enjoy the benefits!
